What are Brick Slips?


A Brick Slip is a thin tile, cut from real brick, commonly used to replicate the look of a real brick wall for both internal and external applications.

Can I use Brick Slips in a fireplace?


Yes! Brick Slips look fabulous installed in any fireplace! You just need to make sure you use a suitable heat proof adhesive. Our Slip Bond (link to adhesive here) adhesive is fully heat proof.


Can I use Brick Slips outside?


Yes, all our Brick Slips are cut from real brick. They are perfectly suitable for outside use.


Can I use Brick Slips in my kitchen or bathroom?


Yes, they can give the real wow factor in any room!  Brick Slips are a genuine natural clay product, meaning they are porous by nature. A sealer would be recommended if they are likely to become splashed by water.


How thick are Brick Slips?


Our Brick Slips are cut to a standard 20mm thick. If you would like to discuss other sizes, please get in touch.


Are Brick Slips cheaper than bricks?


Brick Slips can be a cheaper option when compared to the substantial construction costs involved in building a brick wall.


Can you stick Brick Slips to plasterboard?


Yes, so long as the area is primed/sealed properly beforehand.


How many Brick Slips do I need?

Why do you recommend adding 10% breakage to my order?


Brick Slips are a genuine natural clay product. There is a chance that breakages may occur in transit or during installation just like with any other tile. Adding 10% to your measurements will ensure that any breakages are covered.


Do Brick Slips need sealing?


No, unless they are going to be exposed to any water splashes.


What do you use to stick Brick Slips?


We recommend using our Slip Bond adhesive to stick your brick slips. We use this as it will suit almost any application or substrate. It is also a rapid set flexible adhesive.


What are Brick Slip corner tiles?


Corner tiles are used to go around corners/pillars/windows or door reveals to create either a feature or a more aesthetically pleasing look.


What are Brick Slip header tiles?


Header tiles are brick slips which are cut from the shorter end of a brick. These can be used when the need for half a tile is required or to create a bond pattern. Common brick bond patterns include:
